Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our shoe store team.

This position requires prior experience in footwear retail sales. Successful shoe sales associates possess specialized product knowledge, fitting expertise, and the ability to understand customers' needs and recommend appropriate footwear solutions. Candidates should be comfortable providing personalized service, building customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
-Assist customers with footwear selection, fitting, and product recommendations.
-Demonstrate product features, benefits, and performance characteristics.
-Build customer relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge.
-Recommend additional products and accessories to enhance the customer experience.
-Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
-Maintain visual merchandising standards and attractive product displays.
-Handle cash and various forms of payment accurately and responsibly.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor and stockroom.
-Contribute to store sales goals and support a positive team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:
-Minimum one (1) year of retail sales experience in a shoe store.
-Experience fitting customers and recommending footwear based on their needs.
-Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers.
-Experience operating a POS system and handling cash transactions.
-Basic math skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
-Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
-Availability to work day shifts.

Preferred:
-Experience with merchandising, inventory management, and product presentation.
-Bilingual skills.

SCHEDULE:
-Part-time
-Day shift required
-Weekend, holiday, and peak-season availability preferred
